Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the first ever direct flight by an Israeli Commercial airline from Israel to the United Arab Emirates; El Al, flew directly over Saudi Arabia. This flight before would have been a seven hour flight, but now three. Shalom, Saalam, and Peace-this is the beginning-was written on the exterior of the plane. Senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner, prayed for Muslims and Arabs and hoped they’d be encouraged to see this symbol of peace in the region. The Peace Plan with the UAE is not yet formally signed; the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Mr. Kushner are excited for this symbolism. Brother John says this can set a pattern of false peace. He believes President Trump has good intentions, but this precedent isn’t the acceptance and security Israel is to have. He reads, Jeremiah 31:34, and says the Jewish people think this is the peace and equality for humanity that the Bible speaks of; but it’s not a true, lasting peace, as it is not what God has planned. Brother John says pray for President Trump and his advisors for the direction for Israel.
