President Abbas, who is 87 years old, does not want an election. Brother John says the concern is who will be his successor and will the Hamas take more rule within the Palestinian territory and gain predominance. Acts of terrorism have been the concern, since there has been much favoritism for the Hamas since its formation under the Muslim Brotherhood. Brother John says Hamas wants to destroy Zionism, and wrongly believes the land is Muslim land and does not belong to Israel.
