Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses the passing of the Respect For Marriage Act in the Senate and the House; it now awaits the President’s signature. The bill won approval of all Democrats, and 39 House Republicans and 12 Republican Senators. Brother Josh says the bill will not force states to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples where they are illegal; however, those states will be forced to recognize a same sex marriage from another state that does issue a marriage license. This makes some states subject to others. Brother Josh says this is not a political or legal issue; same sex marriages are a spiritual issue, a moral issue. This is not a victory for those who uphold the biblical principles America was founded on.
