Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern helps us to better understand inflation. Just recently, we have seen the highest inflation reading in thirty-nine years in America. The federal government looks at inflation and employment with a changing and adjusting of interest rates, with policies reacting to the numbers. The Federal Reserve Bank will change interest rates, and add or take away money from the economy. When the Federal Reserve Bank looks for a reason to change their policy, they will look at our inflation number, with a target point of 2-percent inflation. The Personal consumption expenditure is also important, as all of this plays a major role in deciphering what is going on with the Federal Government and how it effects our life and living
