Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern look at America’s labor shortage problem and illegal immigration at our border. Brother Josh says many people coming in illegally are working illegally by being paid cash and not paying taxes on their wages. In December alone, there were 180-thousand encounters with illegals on America’s border; that is an increase of 141-percent from December of 2020. A large percentage of the illegal immigrants stopped are arrested for various reasons and held, or released into American communities. Brother Josh says this number of encounters is expected to surpass 2-million in 2022. Tens of thousands are coming from outside of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador; coming from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, Brazil, and Haiti, several of which, are coming from Communist countries. Brother Josh says we need to be asking who is coming into this country, as these will be voters in upcoming U.S. Elections.
