There is an emotional sway, a component of fear in all of the headlines of 2020. Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses the problems that America is facing. He observes how people seem to forget quickly, and move on to the next issue at hand; from Coronavirus in February through April, George Floyd in May, following that, rioting and anarchy, then defunding the police, and on into racial inequalities, and now a renewed focus on Coronavirus and the candidates for President. Brother Josh says what the media puts out leads the emotion of the people. He asks Christians to not move with the flow of the latest news headlines. He encourages Christians to start their day with the Bible, and not the television news. He points out how the pessimistic news, usually turns more optimistic in a few weeks. Don’t be distracted by these things, which is Satan’s goal. Focus on the Word of God, which will never change. If you build your house on the solid rock, Jesus Christ, your house will stand. Ask yourself, what is dictating your life on a day to day basis? Is it the latest testing numbers of COVID19? We can’t be blind to reality, but science and statistics are cold and factual; those numbers effect people emotionally. Do not put your faith and trust in them. Trust in the Lord, and stand on the Word of God. He does not change and we know the outcome.
