Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the latest conversations regarding payment methods, and cashless worries. No contact payment is causing some to think we are being pushed toward a cashless society. Brother Josh explains why we have a coin shortage, as the U.S. mint had to reduce staffing during the COVID19 shutdown and thus the production of money was slowed. The Federal Reserve immediately receives coins and distributes the coins. Brother Josh says some of the problem is many people have not been shopping in stores to use their paper money and making change. The Rosenstern’s say this does not have a hidden motive to force Americans to go cashless. They agree that money does seem to be a way to spread germs, but that has always been. Brother Josh warns to not make something out of nothing. He says the church is too busy looking for a conspiracy theory, and instead, the church needs to see the harvest is right in front of them; go share the gospel.
