Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss President Biden’s trip to the Middle East. Brother Josh explains Israel’s Iron Dome defense system and how it can intercept rockets being fired against them from the Palestinians. Brother Josh says the U.S. Marine Corp is working with Israel in an effort to combine technologies of such a defense system for America. The Iron Dome is known to have saved tens of thousands of lives since its inception since 2011. Israel is now developing a new air and missile defense techniques involving laser technology called David’s Sling. This defense system is designed to defeat short-range missiles and rockets. President Biden commented during his visit about the rich long history of the people there, thus supporting a two state solution. Brother John explains how there is no such thing as a historical Palestinian people; these are Arabs and others who have come from other parts of the region and moved into the area when Israel made it habitable. Also during the President’s visit, he mentioned support for the economic incentives of the Abraham Accords initiated by President Trump.
