Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the policing power of the IRS, regarding affordable healthcare. Referring to the requirement of Americans to show proof of health insurance when filing their taxes, Brother John says it was originally a penalty, but was changed to a tax so the Supreme Court could justify it. Brother Josh updates a previous report on the Christian’s Engaged Organization that had been rejected of its filing as a 501c3 non-profit organization. Brother Josh says good news; the IRS reversed its decision and allowed the organization’s request to file as a non-profit. The group is known for promoting conservative views to any interested parties.
