Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the plan that Israel has to annex portions of the West Bank. The land in discussion, the West Bank, is the West Bank of the Jordan River to the East of Israel, the land of Judea. Jerusalem sits right in the middle where the West Bank curves. Right now, the West Bank is a Palestinian territory. The bible says it’s Israel’s land, that is Israel's sovereign over this territory. Brother John says President Trump’s proposed peace plan is not the correct response with the division of the territory. It’s God’s land, and He said it is not to be divided. The Battle of Armageddon will be the fight over the land; God can fight this battle. The Jews are God’s chosen people. In history, Israel’s self-defense is looked at as aggressiveness. Israel is seen as an oppressive occupier by the Palestinians, despite her surrender of much of the land; this makes a prime recipe for terrorism. Brother John says the President needs to rescind his good intentioned peace plan effort; this needs to be God’s plan. Believers and Spiritual leaders need to pray for peace in Jerusalem, and for God’s favor for Israel. That is how the United States can truly can be a friend to Israel.
