Today on Insight, John Rosenstern shares some important rulings coming before the United State’s Supreme Court. Overturning fifty years under Roe v. Wade tops the list. Justices ruled in favor of allowing New Yorkers to continue to carry concealed weapons outside of their homes. An additional gun control bill has passed the Senate, with a 65 to 33 vote; it is the Safer Community Act. It includes increased restrictions on legal gun purchases that will greatly affect gun ownership of law-abiding citizens. Brother John says this is likely a doorway to greatly inhibit the second amendment rights of Americans. Despite America's capability of being fuel efficient, he lays out the Biden Administration’s efforts to reduce the usage of fossil fuels and the challenges America faces in our government’s push to use alternative energies and foreign fuel. Brother John adds, that our country cannot legislate away sin and morality; he encourages believers to pray and vote in this ever-important time.
