Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the push in America to defund the police during a time when we are seeing a surge of violent crimes in many cities. Brother Josh says the mission is being camouflaged by the names of proposed legislation like the People’s Response Act; but is an effort to federalize the police, and take away from local law enforcement. The For the People Act is another bill, similarly appearing to have the “people” in mind. Brother Josh says this was a tactic of Adolf Hitler; introducing a concept for the People’s Community, which gave a false appearance of promoting help for the people if they agree to give up individual rights to receive community help for the “people”. Brother Josh says we need to see what is going on with this attempt to federalize voting and policing, warning Americans to be careful of the “changes” laid out in these bills being proposed by Congress and not be deceived by their titles.
