Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the Women’s Health Protection Act. This bill is being reintroduced, and has been every year since its inception eight years ago. Brother Josh says while this bill has never received much attention in the past, this go around, there are some very progressive and intolerant people in Congress pushing it through. If this bill becomes law, it would remove some of the mandates/laws that prohibit and slow the abortion process; as some of the mandates give women more time to consider their decision about whether they truly want to take the life of their child. These progressive leaders are likely concerned that Roe Vs. Wade could be reviewed and overturned. Brother Josh says he is also concerned with the Supreme Court, which seems to have lost its way in some respects.
