Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the longest serving Prime Minister of the State of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu; explaining the difference between a parliamentary government system and a Republic. In Israel, the elections are on party lines, and not for individual candidates as we have here in the United States. Brother Josh says Americans need to realize the difference, and vote with knowledge, knowing the voting patterns of the candidates on every issue. We should not be voting on party lines alone, as done in the parliamentary system’s of Israel and England. Brother Josh says it seems Americans are leaning towards party system patterns of voting , which he says is a mistake. Our Republic system of government is far more efficient. Brother John says we are already moving away from the power of the people’s vote, and if it continues, we will lose our representative government system where we the people will lose their voting power which was created by our founding fathers.
