Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss disconnect between the U.S. Government and the American people. Brother Josh says many things we are hearing from our politicians need to be fact checked. One example of deception within our government is over the proposal to forgive student loan debt. Brother Josh says we can be sure, if debt is forgiven it will not just go away. At some point, everyone will pay for it, because if all student loan debt is forgiven, and absorbed by our government, it will then be tacked onto our budget or onto our federal debt, which will result in an inflationary effect, i.e., everything will get more expensive. Trading student loan debt may forgive the payback today; but inflation is for a lifetime. Brother Josh says typically, when prices go up, they don’t come back down. This will have a ripple effect on all Americans, even for those who don’t have student loan debt. Brother John says we are seeing a radicalization of spending; inflation hurts everyone, especially the lower class.
