Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the funding concerns for the U.S. Social Security and Medicare programs for eligible seniors. The systems are not holding up, and the Medicare Trust Fund looks to run out of money come 2028. The concerning costs of these programs were not planned for. Some cities in America are seeing unemployment as high as 20-percent; as many cities are losing jobs, so much so, that even Walmart’s are closing. Brother John says taxing the income of the wealthy is not the answer, as Brother Josh explains how payroll taxation works. Americans are being disincentivized for working; as a result, we are seeing a growing entitled mindset.
