Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the recent intimidation at the homes of several U.S. Supreme Court justices in response to the leak over the possible overturn of Roe v. Wade. Brother Josh says these judges are not elected by the people, and finds it ludicrous that they are being bullied for their protection of what is and is not constitutional. The Rosensterns discuss the Women’s Health and Protection Act currently before the Senate; it goes so far as to not use the term woman in the bill, but rather “birthing people” in an effort to not offend those supporting gender neutrality. To show forth two extremes, Brother Josh shares how under Islam, the Taliban in Afghanistan, is reinforcing its laws against any rights for women, forbidding them from leaving home without a full burka, hijab, and a male guardian escort.
