The consequences of COVID19 are becoming much worse than the virus itself. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the death toll by suicide in California has now surpassed the number of Coronavirus deaths in that state. All across the nation, prescriptions are on the rise for anxiety, depression and other mental health related problems including sleep disorders. Thirty million people alone are on some kind of depression medicine in the United States. Brother Josh says in a recent survey of Americans, one third say COVID19 is affecting their mental health. One big cause for depression, thirty-nine million Americans have lost their jobs. The Rosenstern’s say these long term consequences are totaling much higher than physical deaths from the virus. We must realize the detriment of this, and know, that greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world.
