Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the link between America’s current leadership and the increase in crime across the United States; compounding on the movement to defund the police. Brother Josh says, scripture proves that judgment must be executed speedily against an evil work, or it will be set in the hearts of men to do evil, thus sin more, referring to Ecclesiastes 8:26. Brother Josh lays out some local and state efforts to curb the increase in violent crimes; the problem, the efforts do not include police arrests or prosecutions of crimes, nor do they involve more funding and training of law enforcement. The approach rather is looking at community efforts without the police; thus, it’s a proposal of federalization of policing.
