Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the rioting and protests in Minneapolis, following the death of a black man by police. While four officers have been fired, the community there is outraged over the senseless death of the man; as video of the incident shows the officer holding the man’s head to the ground with his knee on his neck. The officer was begged to stop, by the man and on lookers as the victim told the officer he could not breathe. Brother Josh says this is a shame, as a man has died, at the hands of police while handcuffed. The Rosenstern’s say this should not be a reflection of all police, but unfortunately this is what happens; as often times, all police will be demonized by the actions of a few bad officers. In this instance, the Rosenstern’s say justice should be served with charges filed against the officers involved, something that rioting against Minneapolis’ businesses and harming innocent people cannot achieve.
