Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss debt, looking at the spending of the United States of America, with trillions of dollars of debt, up near 30-trillion. Brother Josh says if you spend more than you bring in every year, you will compound your debt; to stop the debt, we must stop accruing the debt, therefore stop spending more money than is being brought in. The 2022 budget, put forth by the President, will begin in October 2021. This is the President’s wish list; if you want to know the character of this Administration, all we need to do is look at its spending habits. Brother Josh says, we must remember that Congress must pass or reject the components of the budget that the President puts forth. The United States has not had a balanced budget since the Clinton Administration, and our current debt situation has been a bi-partisan effort. Brother Josh says, if we don’t get it under control now, our future generations will be saddled with this ever mounting debt.
