Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss recent tracking numbers on holiday shopping in the United States. Shoppers spent a record 9.1-billion dollars on Black Friday online sales. All online spending from Thanksgiving day through today, Cyber Monday is expected to total 35-billion, up 3-percent overall since 2021. The majority of shoppers are choosing flexible payment plans to deal with higher prices; buy now, pay later options are increasing by 78-percent. Consumers may have limited spending because of inflation, but their appetites to spend is still the same.
