Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the looming vaccination mandates for businesses with 100 or more employees. Through OSHA and the Department of Labor, the government has issued a guidance for employers, stating COVID is an actual workplace safety hazard. There is debate over whether this is or is not a mandate, but is being stated as a new emergency, temporary standard. The standard does not include the employer to pay for the employee’s mandated COVID testing and face coverings, even though these will be required as part of the workplace safety protocol. Brother John says we are weaponizing OSHA and taking rules of safety to an overreach with this COVID mandate. The Federal Court has stayed this looming mandate as it is being debated.
