Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosentern discuss the Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy has been ousted, Speaker McCarthy. The Speaker carries a lot of weight as to what gets to the floor of the house, as the Democrats and a group of eight far right Republicans, who are fed up with the spending in our country. The House is at a standstill until they vote for another speaker next week, needing a vote of 218. Louisiana Congressman, and House Majority leader Steve Scalise is being discussed as the most likely replacement, as he is currently battling cancer. Scalise has a powerful conservative voice in the house. Brother Josh says the ousting of McCarthy just handed the House majority to the Democrats next year, and this is an embarrassing moment for our leadership.
