Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the U.S. government’s debt ceiling, as the House of Representatives passes a bill to suspend the nation’s borrowing limit until the end of 2022. Brother Josh says either way, the whole scenario is unfortunate. If the Senate blocks the effort, we could see a partial government shutdown and risk a default on U.S. debt payments for the first time in modern history. With the current spending trajectories, the U.S. could have another 100-trillion in debt, added to the current 30-trillion dollar U.S. debt.
