The American citizen did not get much clarity on very few, if any, topics. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern give their overview of the first debate between President Trump and former Vice-President Joe Biden. Brother Josh feels the issues didn’t truly get covered, as the personalities of both men became concerning and disappointing. The Supreme Court vacancy, mail in voting, the economy, and the COVID19 pandemic were major talking points; but immigration and the wall were not discussed. There was little said on foreign policy, and Israel wasn’t mentioned at all. The debate surely left all Americans, as a whole, disappointed if they were genuinely wanting some of their questions answered; but that just didn’t happen. Brother John felt moderator Chris Wallace was bias, and had complete disrespect for the President. The President fell into a trap, as Biden only came prepared with talking points and narratives. Brother John says the President, going on the defensive, and attacking Biden didn’t help the situation. Brother Josh says the debate over the economy definitely goes to the President, while Biden did not tell the truth about unemployment and household debt since the President has been in office and what problems were carried over from the Obama/Biden administration.
