Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss a 7.6 earthquake that hit Taiwan, a major contributor of computer chip production around the world. Many have died with multiple aftershocks and tsunami warnings are going out in the region. The official name of Taiwan is The Republic of China, as China’s ownership of Taiwan is ongoing. The United States and China continue to battle over trade and tariffs, as the Chinese economy is dramatically dropping, despite not truly knowing by how much. The Chinese government has no transparency regarding its Communist rule, under the dictatorship of President Xi Jinping. In the Middle East, Israeli Defense Forces accidentally killed seven humanitarian aid workers, and Israel is expressing remorse for the incident.
