Statistics confirm bankruptcy filings among small business owners is up 61-percent. Inflation, high interests rates, and COVID loans have forced higher costs for doing business, which hinders offering competitive prices and wages. Brother John says union strikes are contributors to the problems, as we see Boeing and the ports on the East Coast are suffering. The increase in government involvement will not help consumers; it will only result in more debt, as raising wages will not solve the problem. We must cut spending.
