Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern applaud a lower court ruling on abortion. In Kentucky, any woman who is looking to get an abortion, now has to first be informed about the procedure with an ultrasound. With this informed consent legislation, a woman must have an ultrasound performed by a doctor and have explained to them just what they are seeing in the ultrasound; arms, legs, heart chambers, etc. This policy was challenged right away by pro-abortion advocates arguing in part, that the ruling would violate the physician's free speech rights. The informed consent legislation was upheld in the court of appeals with a 2 to 1 vote. Brother Josh points out that the judge over this pro-life ruling was appointed by President Trump. The Rosensterns say abortion, sadly, is a business, and we’ve made human life worthless in this country.
