Today on Insight, Brother John Rosenstern recognizes Martin Luther King Jr Day with a discussion on the focus of this federal holiday being on unity and community service. Brother John reminds that true unity and culture of coming together in service can be done through the unity that is found only in the truth of Jesus Christ. While Dr. King leaned toward socialist principles, with liberation theology being prevalent during the time of Dr. King, Brother John says, Dr. King’s speeches did, however, include Jesus Christ, as he fought to end racism.
