Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the bipartisan deal that was struck between the President and some ten Senators, in an effort to get something passed with regards to an infrastructure deal. The effort could possibly see some approval from Republicans and Democrats, resulting in 1.2 Trillion in new spending over 8 years. The President is trying to get infrastructure spending underway, hoping to spend to create growth. Brother Josh says its one thing if you have the money to spend, but when we don’t have the money it’s called deficit spending. Brother John says he has seen this idea of spending money to create growth snowball into a monster from President Reagan, George Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and now this administration coming out of a pandemic, and responding to a call for reparations. We will bankrupt the nation in no time, as the GDP is already over 100-percent. It’s a dangerous position to be in. Brother John says, we must slowdown government spending; adding money to the money supply this way, only dilutes the value of existing dollars, which is the very opposite of economic growth.
