Today is the 19th commemoration of the 9-11 terror attacks on the United States. Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern remembers, as a middleschooler, watching television, and seeing the hijacked planes flying into the Twin Towers in New York City. Honor and respect goes out to the lives of so many that died that day. Brother Josh says he thinks of the first responders and how police are being disrespected in this country today. In 2002, the Department of Homeland Security began out of what happened the previous year. Brother Josh says so much changed in our country that day, and churches across the country started filling up right after the terror attacks. Brother Josh says sadly, so many quickly forgot and went back to their previous lifestyles. What about now? With the pandemic and riots of 2020, how many have turned to God in desperation, but still, have quickly forgotten? The church must awaken, it is time for God’s people to repent from putting faith in anything other than the finished work of Christ. Christians must pray that God will hold back the tide of darkness, and seek Him like never before.
