Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the famine of the Word of God in the world today. We are seeing a drought, due to the lack of the rain of God’s Spirit. Spiritually speaking, we must have rain for growth. Brother Josh says this is not because of God, but God’s people need to believe His promises and seek His face. Rain is needed for the harvest to grow; that typifies the rain of the Holy Spirit is needed to reap a harvest of souls. Brother John says he sees the hardened ground, that typifies hardened hearts; but the gospel going forth can break up the hardened ground, then a seed can be planted properly. That seed is the seed of faith.
