Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses the Jewish holiday, Rosh Hashanah, known as the Feast of Trumpets, which is the Jewish New Year. All of the Old Testament celebrations and laws, have been fulfilled by Jesus Christ, as the Mosaic Law was always meant to point towards Christ. National Israel has not placed their faith in Christ; therefore, they hold these holidays to a higher standard. Reading Leviticus 23:23-25, Brother Josh explains what this scripture means to the church and to Israel. Verse 25 is clear; we are to look to the offering. This Feast of Trumpets, also symbolizes what will transpire at the rapture of the Christian church. When that trumpet sounds, all believers in Christ will be caught up in the clouds with the Lord.
