HALF RIGHT IS ALL WRONG- By giving our hearts to Christ for salvation, we start right, but all too often somewhere along the way, we go wrong. Today at Family Worship Center, Resurrection Camp meeting 2024, morning services began with Pastor Loren Larson reading Galatians 4:28-31, teaching on how we are to live this Christian life in victory. Just as we begin, with Christ being our source and the Cross the means, we must maintain our walk the same. Salvation gives us all we need for life and living. Our own works and willpower will not maintain an acceptable walk; we are His workmanship, and the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to change us into the image of Christ when we keep our faith anchored in Him alone. Just as Abraham had to cast out the bondwoman and her son, for they represented self-efforts of scheming by Abraham and Sarah in an effort to bring about God’s promise. We must cast out all our efforts of flesh. If we don’t cast out everything but the Cross, we will end up all wrong. Believing in the Cross alone brings proper works, and fruit in our lives that are pleasing to God.
