WHAT MEANETH THIS- God’s way to Pentecost was through Calvary. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Acts 2:5-12 preaching on the power of the Holy Spirit that came on the Day of Pentecost. Explaining the former and the latter rain, Pastor Donnie walks us through the many moves of the Holy Spirit since the prophecy of Joel was given in the Old Testament unto the great outpouring at the Azusa Street Revival of 1906. God still wants to pour out His Spirit today. When we hunger for more of the things of God, we will find the presence and power of God all around us. God wants to pour out His Spirit to all who seek Him. Speaking in tongues is the evidence of the Holy Spirit coming inside the believer in a new and dynamic way. We don’t seek tongues, but Jesus Christ, for He is the baptizer. The Holy Spirit magnifies Calvary and what Jesus there did.
