IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL GOD SAYS IT’S OVER— Today Pastor Dave Smith preaches from Ruth 1:16-17. Fleeing from the famine and hard times in Judah, Naomi and her husband went to Moab. Naomi lost her husband and two sons; but God had a plan for her. Her daughter-in-law Ruth saw something in Naomi and did not want to leave her mother-in-law. In Philippians 3:5-6, looking at the life of Paul, Saul of Tarsus, he considers all that he knew of religion before conversion was to be counted as dung. In Romans 7:18-19, Paul writes as a Spirit-filled believer, having a great struggle with the sin nature. Brother Smith says, be encouraged, your prodigals will come back. God knows what is going on in their hearts, and He knows how to draw them. God hears our afflictions, and He plans to bring us out into a good land flowing with milk and honey.
