ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR A MOVE OF GOD?- Today at Family Worship Center, Dr. Jimmy Dupree encourages believers to be excited about what God is doing. Reading Acts 2:37, he shows us that proper faith will result in the power of the Holy Spirit moving and convicting. Dr. Dupree walks us through the first and second Great Awakenings that were sparked during a time when our nation was losing its spiritual identity. Jonathan Edwards and George Whitfield brought awareness to standing for righteousness. Believers beware of complacency. During this time, camp meetings came to light with the power of the Holy Spirit moving mightily. God raised up men and women for His cause and many came to repentance and salvation. Our world today mirrors these times of Great Awakenings, and believers are being called to such boldness to stand for the gospel. Revival is on the horizon. 2nd Timothy 3:1-7 sets the stage for another great awakening in end times. Dr. Dupree poses the question, will we stand now as those believers did then, and what are we willing to lose for the cause of Christ?
