OUR FIRST LOVE— Oftentimes Christian’s will lose their zeal and passion, found in the simplicity of Christ, when they were first born again. Pastor David Borg preaches from Revelation 2:1-5, comparing the Ephesian church, of the Apostolic time period, which closed out around A.D. 100, to the church of today. Brother Borg explains how many Christian’s will leave their first love, even though from the outside, appearing to still serve Him. Why does this happen? Brother Borg addresses this answer as to why many will go on past just loving and believing on what Jesus did on the Cross. He reminds us, of how we received Him is how we are to walk, by grace through faith.(Col. 2:6) Do this, and you will never leave your first love.
