GOOD GRIEF— How do we recover from grief? Tonight at FWC, Pastor David Watts preaches from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. As believers, we grieve differently from the world because we have hope. We all contemplate circumstances differently, but grief is a natural response to disappointment and loss. Grieving is individual; our relationship with Jesus affects how we grieve. Brother Watts reminds us that grief is not wrong. Jesus gave us the knowledge of eternity, and that helps us to understand grief in the light of heaven. When we are saved, we have an assurance of a future reunion. Our knowledge of the Cross takes the sting out of death. We have a grief full of hope as believers in Jesus Christ. We can give our grief to Him.
