LEARNING CHRIST- The believer lacks nothing; every provision we need to be conformed into the image of Christ, we have. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson preaches from Ephesians 4:17-24. As Christians, we must know what needs to be changed in our lives; when we do, it will be valued, and we will share it. Brother Larson says we must evaluate our need for change; the indwelling Holy Spirit will speak to us, through various ways, to guide us and teach us through others. We may have trials that expose us to the transformation God wants to see. We are not to let the sun go down on our anger, nor give place to the devil. There should be no sipping saints or cussing Christians; put malice and bitterness away. These things don’t belong in the life of the believer. Learning Christ means we are to put off the former lifestyle, and lay it aside because we are a new creation in Christ. God renews us; we can’t renew ourselves. The Holy Spirit will work on our behalf when we anchor our faith in Christ’s finished work. The power of sin over us was broken when we said yes to Christ.
