THE PRISONS THAT GOD ALLOWS- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Josh Rosenstern reads Psalm 105:17-21 teaching on what happens when Jesus Christ is rejected, destruction comes. Joseph’s brothers hated him because their father favored him more. Joseph’s dreams from the Lord angered his brothers, leading them to throw Joseph into a pit to die. Joseph was sold instead into slavery in Egypt. Potiphar saw Joseph’s gifts. God makes a difference in us that is seen by others. Satan preyed on Joseph’s faith when he did nothing to deserve the attacks that came upon him. Brother Josh warns us that a lie is often mixed with some truth, which can confuse the believer. When we find ourselves in a prison of sorts, like Joseph, we must trust and stand for God because God has allowed it for His glory and our good. The Lord was with Joseph and He is with us. God is preparing us. In God’s time, Joseph went from the prison to the palace. The Lord is coming back soon; He is preparing us, His laborers, to bring in one last great harvest of souls.
