Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jason Stidham reads from 2 Kings 2: 12-14 and I Corinthians 4: 14-17, teaching on the Jezebel spirit that tries to permeate the Elijah generation. Elijah reads the letter from Jezebel and hides himself in a cave fretting over himself and his circumstances thinking he was the only one left. Satan tempts this generation the same; to isolate, making us think we are the only ones still believing God’s truth. But there were thousands left still believing in Elijah’s day, just as we see there are today. Brother Stidham warns the next generation, the Elisha generation, to be careful of the Absalom spirit which leads the younger generation to believe it’s their time before it is, i.e. it’s too soon, be patient. We cannot go from the plow to prophet overnight. Transition is coming, respect the Elijah generation and learn, for the time for the Elisha generation is near.
