THE HEALING POWER OF Jesus Christ- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Matthew 8:16 & 17, preaching on the healing power of Christ. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The Bible is filled with the many stories of Christ’s healings, and He is still the healer today. Pastor Paris shares a story of an amazing healing from a book titled, ‘Miracles Today’; Barbara Kaminski, was healed from blindness and being bedridden for 16 years. She was not able to use her limbs as Multiple Sclerosis took over her body as a teenager. But one night, God told her to get up and walk, and she did. Believers can get up out of their beds of doubt, depression, and anxiety and get up and walk in Jesus’ name. Pastor Paris says, while sometimes illness is a result of sin in our lives, the Lord also uses our sorrows and struggles to reveal to us who He is. We can trust in Him; Jesus Christ paid a high price on Calvary’s Cross that we can live in His victory when we place our faith in His finished work. Healing is paid for in the atonement. On the Cross, He paid the debt for every single person to be made whole; whether it’s on this earth or in eternity with Him, it is a promise He will keep.
