THE PRAYER OF DESPERATION- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Associate Pastor Jonathan Steele reads in the Books of Judges, Numbers, and Luke. He encourages us how Israel continually turned their backs on God and faced many trials, but when they turned back to God they were blessed. God had a plan for Samson before his birth, but even after failing God by breaking the Nazarite vow, he prayed for the Lord to remember him and he was used greatly. Hannah in her desperation to have a child prayed for God to remember her and she birthed Samuel. Brother Jonathan goes on to remind us of the thief on the Cross; he asked Jesus to remember him, and he was with Him that day in paradise. God delights in answering our desperate prayers. Call upon Him, He cares for us.
