THE PRECIOUSNESS OF THE BLOOD- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Dale Usey reads 1 Peter 1:18 preaching on our redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is rare; there is no other blood like His. It is incorruptible, and it is still alive today. It has purchasing power, for He was a broken, suffering Savior for a broken, suffering world. He is our Prophet, our Priest, and our King. The King redeems us out of our slavery. Our sin has been defeated, covered by the blood. As a priest, He made intercession for us, and as a prophet He reconciled us back to God. Nothing else needs to be done; it is finished. All we have to do is place our faith in His finished work. In Him, is all the fullness of the Godhead. Pastor Dale reminds us, we are in the last days; our King of Kings is soon to return, we must be ready in faithfulness.
