PREFERENCE VERSUS PURPOSE- Tonight, at Family Worship Center, Powerhouse Kidz Pastor Jonathan Steele reads Ezra 3:10-15 teaching on God’s calling for His children. The Israelites were formed as a nation, chosen by God, and delivered out of the bondage of Pharaoh, given the Law of God so that a deliverer could be brought forth. This nation carried the presence of God throughout the world. Scripture is clear, God says, if my people will humble themselves and pray, then God would hear and answer prayers. Evil abounded then and now; and we see revivals where strongholds are broken, and idols torn down. But revivals come and go; we must be Godly leaders, and truly be changed so we can experience the fullness of God. When repentance comes, God will restore fully and completely. The foundation of faith must be built; just as the temple was built again, beginning with the altar for the sacrifices, which were lifted up for the glory of God. Believers today need to bring back the altar and praise God again.
