FROM LODEBAR TO JERUSALEM- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Guest Evangelist John Maasbach from The Blessing Church in The Hague, Netherland reads 2nd Samuel 9:1-8. In this great story, we find Mephibosheth hiding in Lodebar after his grandfather, King Saul, and his father, Jonathan were killed by the Philistines. The Hebrew for Lodebar, means a place of no pasture, and symbolized a place of no spiritual food. While being lame on his feet and in fear, Mephibosheth could not have imagined that King David sought to bless his life, not take it. Brother Maasbach reminds us how we too are being sought after. Despite our sin and failures, our heavenly King wants us to repent, and He invites us to dine at His table for eternity. Do you know of someone today whom you could invite to this wonderful banqueting table?
