HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE (PART THREE)- The Bible is trustworthy, and holds the supernatural power of God. It will never contradict itself. Tonight at Family Worship Center, JSBC Professor Dave Watts reads 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaching on the basics in our study through God’s Word. Brother Watts reminds us to not let the difficult parts of the Bible discourage us from pushing through to find correct meaning. Remember to not just hone in on our favorite stories and scriptures, but to always read more for understanding content. The Holy Spirit will reveal God’s truth to us. He is our greatest tool in helping us to understand and gain knowledge as we study. Other tools that can also help us in our journey are Bible handbooks, Old and New Testament surveys, commentaries, Bible dictionaries, and atlases.
