THE SAVING POWER OF JESUS CHRIST- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Paris Ragan reads 1st Timothy 1:12-17 as he shares his personal testimony. He says his was an awesome salvation, being set free instantly from the bondage of alcohol and tobacco. He shares how sin had such a hold on his life that he just wanted to die; but the great news is, when we meet Jesus, our old man is put to death, and we are brought back to life in Christ. Pastor Paris says it wasn’t long after he gave his heart to the Lord that God showed him in a dream that he would preach to the lost all over the world. As the Crossfire youth pastor, through Sonlife Broadcasting Network, that is exactly what he is doing. Pastor Paris encourages us that there is nothing too hard for God, and when we truly repent, He is quick to forgive. When we believe on the finished work of Christ, our chains are gone; we are a new creation. God will freely pour out His mercy, grace, and love for all who will only believe.
